2016 Bacon and Barrels Festival!

Calling all Bacon Enthusiasts! The third annual Bacon & Barrels festival returns to San Diego this May 21^st and the everyone’s going hog-wild over their lineup of events! I am excited to be sharing this information and will be receiving two tickets to check it out this year!

Named by Huffington Post Travel as one of “The Top 5 Festivals in California,” Bacon & Barrels is an all-day festival located at downtown’s Embarcadero Marina Park South, showcasing local chefs’ most imaginative recipes incorporating bacon. The event also highlights artisan and craft barrel beverages such as bourbon, beer, wine and scotch.

There will be live demos on the culinary stage by premier San Diego chefs and mixologists from barleymash, Firefly, and Florent. Bacon & Barrels has also partnered with VAVi Sports & Social Club to offer a “Game Zone” that hosts volleyball, spike ball and a Giant Jenga tournament! Signups will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the tournament will begin at 3:00 p.m. Winners will receive a free pass to Bacon & Barrels 2017!
